What’s New

The Network for Economic Uncertainty Research (NEUR) seeks to address the challenges arising from unprecedented levels of economic uncertainty, which have significantly affected global markets and economic stability in recent years. This rise stems from factors that have emerged or intensified recently, including geopolitical tensions, military conflicts, health crises, climate change, energy crises, technological disruptions, and unpredictable economic decisions by world leaders. These elements create a complex and volatile economic landscape that requires focused research and strategic understanding.

The Network aims to address this challenge by creating a global, interdisciplinary platform dedicated to advancing the study of uncertainty in economic systems. NEUR brings together researchers, policymakers, and institutions to investigate how uncertainty shapes decision-making, policy design, and long-term economic outcomes. We will continue the tradition of the Uncertainty and Economic Forecasting biennial conferences, organized since 2014.
